After weeks of preparation, the EnSpire team were really excited to welcome over 200 attendees to celebrate 20 of the most exciting early-stage startups in and around Oxford for the annual #StartedinOxford Demo Night event.

As the startups got their stands ready in a freshers fair style set up, the Weston Library filled with University and community members, ready and waiting to hear the pitches and invest their 1000 #StartedinOxford Demo Night dollars in their favourite business ideas.

The countdown was on and the room buzzed with innovation as networking commenced and pitches were delivered. As the investment was counted, a number of the participating startups delivered live pitches to the audience and our three prize-givers got ready to award our top voted for startups with their prizes.

When the pitching concluded and all investment was counted, our deserving winner and runners up were revealed as:

🥇 First place was awarded to Mēin Skincare, who took home £1000 and a six month membership to Grassroots Workspace.

🥈 Second place was social enterprise Get Fed Coffee CIC who were also awarded £1000 and a tailored package of legal support from Freeths, Oxford.

🥉 DŌSOJIN took third place, winning £1000 and a range of books on entrepreneurship from the Oxford University Innovation Startup Incubator.
