Event Overview
GROW is a series of events that encourages participants to share ideas, learn together, and embrace diversity, creating a community that supports one another in the pursuit of curiosity and impactful excellence.
Each session is a taster: a panel or a single speaker, usually with time for questions. Topics are not always specific to venture creation — leadership, negotiation and AI have all featured — because the aim is to open a door rather than to teach a syllabus.

GROW is for people in STEMM disciplines who are curious about innovation, entrepreneurship, impact or leadership, and who want a low-commitment way to explore those topics and meet others doing the same.
GROW is open to the University of Oxford community, including postgraduates and DPhils, researchers and staff, and alumni.
GROW is open access — simply register for the session you would like to attend. One session per term.
Dates for upcoming events:
- Michaelmas 2026 - 10 November 2026 (register by 5 November).
- Hilary 2027 - 16 February 2027 (register by 11 February).
- Trinity 2027 - 25 May 2027 (register by 20 May).
