Event Overview
Pitch & Mix connects early-stage founders and ideas with people who have the skills, experience and interest needed to form teams and move ventures forward.
Participants register either to present an idea or to attend as a potential collaborator. Oxford-affiliated founders deliver short, quick-fire pitches introducing their ventures and explaining the expertise or roles they need. Audience members share their skills, interests and experience, before taking part in networking and open conversations to identify potential matches and agree suitable next steps.

Pitch & Mix is most valuable for Oxford-affiliated founders who have an idea or early-stage venture but need collaborators, co-founders or specialist expertise. It also benefits people from the University and wider community who want to apply their skills to an entrepreneurial project, explore joining a startup, meet founders or gain practical experience without needing to bring their own idea.
Pitch & Mix is open to the University of Oxford community, including undergraduate students, postgraduates and DPhils, researchers and staff, alumni, and external founders and the wider community.
Pitch & Mix is open access, with advance registration required. No interview or invitation is needed.
Presenters must be affiliated with the University of Oxford — including students, researchers, staff and alumni within two years of graduation — and must indicate during registration that they would like to pitch. Pitching places may be limited, because each founder receives a short presentation slot. Attendance as an audience member or potential collaborator is open to the wider community.
