RisingWISE is an award-winning joint programme for women researchers in STEMM from Cambridge and Oxford universities, that is consistently described as “life-changing” and “transformative."

Programme Overview
RisingWISE is a unique initiative that is designed by women, for women, and delivered entirely by women, with the goal of providing enterprising early-career researchers with the confidence and skills they need to build their careers across academia, industry or entrepreneurship.
The programme opens in person, moves online for days two to five, and finishes in person for days six and seven, including a one-night residential.
RisingWISE Cranfield March 2025-2026
RisingWISE is designed for enterprising early-career women researchers in STEMM who want to build confidence, expand their networks and understand the career paths open to them — in academia, in industry or in starting something of their own. You will learn alongside other women researchers and hear directly from women founders in STEMM.
RisingWISE is open to the University of Oxford community, including researchers and staff.
RisingWISE is application-based and open to women in STEMM research fields.

Dates for 2026-2027: The programme runs from Saturday 7 November 2026 - Saturday 6 February 2027. Attendance to all dates is expected from participants.
